What is common channel?

Common channel is what you have "left" in use. You have one side of the "Y" going out of your old stomach (where the digestive juices go out), one side conected to the pouch (for the food) and the "tail" is the common channel, where they mix together. The shorter the common channel, the more malabsorption you get, the better the wt loss. A mixed blessing.
