Question:
Does anyone have any info on having hiatel hernis repair at the same time as wls?

I had mine repaired during my open RNY. Also a lady I work with ,who had her surgery two days after mine, had hers repaired also at the same time. I understand it is very common procedure.

I had a hiatal hernia repaired during my lap band. Did not know I had hernia, unfortunately my Dr. office says insurance will most likely not cover it as it wasn't pre-authorized and I had to self pay for my surgery
