Question:
Approximately how much does it cost to have the excess skin removed from your arms?

How long are you in the hospital? Also, how long are you out of work for this surgery?    — Sue B. (posted on May 8, 2001)

Depends on your area and your surgeon. Call around and ask. $1,600 is the going rate here.

I had this surgery done last March and I am so happy I did! The brachioplasty (arm lift) was $4100 and it was worth every little penny to me. My arms look terrific and I can wear any kind of sleevelss top or dress. It was an outpatient procedure and I was back home the same day. I had it done on a Tuesday and went to a meeting on Friday. I was sore but not incapacitated. You can email me directly for Before and After pictures of the brachioplasty if you are interested! Hugs --- Ann RNY 9/10/99 260/125

I had them done July 10th. Cost was $4500. My scars are not pretty, but arms are much smaller. I would recommend that you see someone who does post obesity surgery, you might have better results. I also wear sleeveless tops now. I had surgery on Wednesday and returned to work on Monday. They were very sore, but didn't slow me down after day one.

$3800 here , $2700 for the surgeons fee , and $1100 for the hospital fee , this is if I do it when I do the breast reduction so the insurance will pay anestesiologist
