Question:
Any documentation for lower back pain and abdominoplasty

I have had a long, documented and chronic lower back pain (sciatica). My plastic surgeon seems to think that this would not be enough to obtain approval for a tummy tuck since my panni is really not that huge (it is perhaps a grade 1 or 2 since it doesn't hang over the pubis). However, I would like to find some solid documentation about tightening of the stomach muscles and/or fat/skin removal and improvement of lower back problems. You could try www.plasticsurgery.org and also Dr.Bermant has a great website with alot of pictures and information about tummy tucks maybe you could find some new information on there. I just type in tummy tuck on the search bar and go to the different sites to see what info they have. I am hoping to see a plastic surgeon soon too. I need alot of work.lol Good luck!
