Tina, I had a problem with many of the proteins sold, spent lots of money of soy proteins that sit in my cabinets. I realized that in my case it was the soy that I could stomach. I found an inexpensive whey protein at Walmart ($7.88) called Body Fortress - has 3 grams of carbs, 0 grams sugar, 17 grams protein. Not as many grams as many of the others I've seen but I can tolerate it. Comes in Vanilla and Chocolate. I mixed 2 scoops of Vanilla in a packet of the Crystal Light Pina Colada Icee and it's great...anyway hope you get to feeling better.

Hi Tina, I use protein drinks but I have found that the cottage cheese and fruit found in the yogurt section (I think it is Breakstone brand)is good and has 12g of protein. Also peanut butter and tuna are high in protein. Hope this helps!
