Question:
Does anyone know where I can get liquid Vitamin E for my scar?

I have always heard that Vitamin E is good for fading scars and I know it comes in a liquid but I can't find it anywhere. All I can find is lotion and cream with Vitamin E as well as other things or the Vitamin E vitamins. Can anyone tell me where I can find this or anything that you have used and it worked well? I have heard aloe vera but I just don't know...Thanks!    — Sharon E. (posted on July 20, 2001)

Hi there. You may want to try Mederma. You can get it at Wal-mart, in a tube (kinda the consistency of Neosporin). It costs about $25 per tube, but it is supposed to be awesome. My incision is not yet healed enough to try it, but I have it in my medicine cabinet waiting for me! Good Luck!

I used a Vit E oil that is from a pricey dept store. I used it for 4 weeks, then swtiched to Scargo, which does an excellent job of fading. If you are taking vit E orally, be sure it is in dry form, not the oil gel type.
