Question:
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

i just need to know someone else feels this sensation please. I AM EXERCISING 17 DAYS POST OP LAP BAND. WHEN I BEND FOWARD AND TOUCH MY TOES, BREATHE IN, I FEEL PRESSURE AT THE TOP OF MY STOMACH UP TO MY CHEST IS THIS A NORMAL SENSATION AT THIS STAGE. It is way too early for you to be exercising. My surgeon didn't reccommend an exercise routine until i was 6 weeks out. The most I could do after surgery was walk. Any bending at the waist can lead to other problems. You just had major surgery. Give your body an opportunity to rest and heal!

My surgeon also said to wait 6 weeks. He said that at that time my abdominal muscles would be healed enough that exercising wouldn't lead to hernias. So be careful. In my surgeons office its only walking till 6 weeks post op.
