Question:
Need to change PCP for post op care

My PCP is 80. He still makes housecalls. I love him to death but he knows nothing about this surgery. He will do what ever I think needs done, but I just don't know what kind of special care I need now that I'm post op. I don't really want to change PCP's, but I feel it would be in my best interest to do so. Anyone got any ideas for after care in the Delaware, or Columbus Ohio area?    — K T. Hi, I don't know about you but I don't think I would change your doctor for the time being. Especially if you really like him unless you experience some problems. Just find a support group. At least for me I haven't had any problems and you should have follow up care with your surgeon. Try drinking chamomile tea, it seems to keep the hunger away for longer periods of time the first six weeks. I know it's probably wrong to do but when you get the real cravings chew and spit. It worked for me. Another thing was well cooked rice. Best of luck.
