Question:
does cigna ppo or the dr.require money upfront before surgery is done

i have cigna ppo and my annual deduct.$250...annual out of pocket $2250.00.. how much will i have to come up with before surgery... i live in texas    — SHERRY M. (posted on September 22, 2002)

As far as I understand the insurance company has nothing to do with how much up front you are expected to come up with. The clinic you go through will know how much you are gonna owe and they will tell you if you have to pay anything up front. I have 1750$ left on my deductible and I am going to finace that amount through a bank of my choice. sometimes Clinic wil finance you themselves. I also have Cigna ppo.
