Question:
Does anyone know of a fruit drink other than Boost Breezers that are fruit based.

Doctor wants me to drink a fruit based protein drink for the first seven days and I was wondering if anyone could recommend one. The only once I have seen are Boost Breezers and Slim fast. Slim fast also has a powder that you can mix with any fruit beverage, anyone tried any of this. Thanks for your help!    — Katrina B. (posted on June 19, 2003)

Another great one is Isopure Zero Carb or Zero Carb Sport. They come in glass bottles, are clear and have a ton of different fruit flavors. Taste like Kool Aid. Can get 'em at GNC.

Yes - Snapple just came out with one. It's a nutritional supplement drink, and the flavor i tried was peach. IT WAS AWESOME - reminded me of Kern's Apricot Nectar. I don't know what the protein count is though. However, I'm still pre-op, and don't know the sugar, etc of it. Make sure you check the label carefully to make sure it's something that wouldn't cause you to dump. Good luck! 19 Days Pre-Op, Surgery Date: 7/7/03 Open RNY, 5'1" 225, BMI = 42

I thought Nectar was good but I have found something much better. I can't stand the majority of powders because of aftertaste and consistency of the drink. I have started out now with Sci Fit Amino Infusion 5000. It comes in a concentrate bottle. I mix it with water and ice. It comes in t3 flavors. I prefer the Tropical Punch (taste like a cross between jolly ranchers and kool-aid) and grape. They are my mainstay. However I am now trying 'Real Protein' and Proplete. They come in a variety of flavors AND they come with pieces of real fruit or chocolate!! I haven't tasted them all yet. I got samples from Vitalady. They are a few places on the net that are cheaper than Vitalady but they don't offer samples. Order samples then buy. It's alot cheaper than throwing your money away. Hope this helps.
