Question:
What are long-term risks of distal gastric bypass w/duodenal switch

I understand that malabsorption increases risk of nutritional deficiencies. If the DGP w/DS patient follows up conscientiously and takes all supplements indicated, what long-term risks remain despite vigilance?    — Tom B. (posted on June 28, 1999)
