Alan, sadly past away Nov 2nd, 2000. He was in the hospital for 4 months his liver failed. He will be missed. He was a very nice man that i met here, and we remained friends untill his passing. Alan we will all miss you. But the lord wanted you more ythen we did, so now alan you can do all the things you wanted to do, and never did. love you MINDY.

I just saw Alan on Tuesday (7/18/00) at the surgeon's office. He was moving really well, especially after he was finished seeing the doctor. He is doing good with the food, he said, and hasn't gotten sick at all. He has been in the hospital for quite a while because he started having other problems not related to the RNY surgery. His kidneys started shutting down on him. He said that he still has several tubes in him. He and his wife were in high spirits and both seemed to be doing really good.
