NICOLE F.

Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

DRIVING AND WALKING.

How did you first find out about bariatric surgery and what were your initial impressions of it?

I HEARD ABOUT IT YEARS AGO WHEN SOMEONE WE KNEW HAD IT DONE.

How did your family and friends react to your decision? Would you have communicated anything differently if you could now? How supportive were they after your surgery?

I NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS WITHOUT MY FAMILY. THEY ALL SUPPORT ME.

How did your employer/supervisor react to your decision? What did you tell him/her? How long were you out of work?

THEY THOGHT I MADE THE RIGHT DECISION. I WAS ONLY OUT OF WORK 4 WEEKS.

DON'T EXPECT TO RUN THE MARATHON FOR A WHILE. EXCEPT HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT BECAUSE BELIEVE ME, YOU WILL. BE CAREFUL AND FOLLOW YOUR DOCTORS' INSTRUCTIONS
