What was your stay in the hospital like? How long where you there? What things are most important to bring?

My stay was rather lonely and cold, I stay at cyfair banks hospital in houston. I went alone, but in a way I didnt care, I just really wanted that surgery, the nurses werent to friendly, there was two that were though, but that was when they were prepping me, after that I didnt see them again, or really anyone else, the staff hardly came into my room, They couldnt even provide me with a "big" wheelchair, so I had to walk out of there when I left. I think the most important thing for me to take would have probably been a friend. But the whole expierence has mad me stronger, because I have proved to myself that I dont have to depend on anyone, I can do it all myself! But a friend would have been nice though.

Did you have any complications from the surgery? If so, how did you deal with them?

The only thing was getting a little dehydrated in the very begining, but I called the doctor, and the told me to drink gatorade instead of water, for the day, I was having trouble with the water only because it hurt to go down.Butsoon learned to sip very lightly, and that was the end of that. Other than that NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!

2 flintstone vitamins a day and 2 iron pill a day
