Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

They were all very happy for me. I have 2 sisters larger than I was and they felt it was a good decision. My husband was wonderful. I was honest with everyone that I was going to have the surgery, now they are happy for me.

How did your employer/supervisor react to your decision? What did you tell him/her? How long were you out of work?

I have a home based business. It was about 10 days that I didn't feel like doing any work. I'm the boss so there was no problem.
