my weight was up and down i struggled most of my life at one time i weighed 383 pounds

How did you first find out about bariatric surgery and what were your initial impressions of it?

Ifound out from a doctor i seen and she said i should consiter the sugery i didnt know much about it at that time but i did a lot of reasearch then i decied to have it done now i have had it done im so greatfull.

What was your stay in the hospital like? How long where you there? What things are most important to bring?

My hospital stay was really good. Iwas in their for 4days. just clothing and personal iteams

Did you have any complications from the surgery? If so, how did you deal with them?

no i had no complications

In the weeks after you got your surgery date, how did you feel? How did you cope with any anxiety you might have felt?

i felt excited and scared i really didnt have anxiety until right before the sugery

What aftercare support group/program do you have? How helpful/important is this?

i attened a supporrt group and its helped a lot i feel it is very import to attened to get help or answer to questions you may have

What is your scar like? Is this what you expected?

its up and sown its very larg and no its not what i expected

Please describe any plateau experiences you have had since surgery.

i havent had a pleatue ive lost 130 pounds seince i started reasrinchand had the sugery

Do you notice people treating you any differently now?

yes they seem to be nicer
