Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

My emotional battle with weight control started when I was young,it was always "Fat" "Fatass" or "a Tub of Lard" or some nasty remarks made by the kids around me and the older kids as we grew up even from the adults. Now at 46 I still hear the wispers, laughing & can feel them watching everything I do.There's no were a large person can go with out the laughter, finger pointing but the worst is the small kids with their parents as they go by "Mommy look at that Fat man or look at the Fat Belly on him". They say children can be so crule, guess that can go for anyone.........
