COULDNT DO ANYTHING SO VERY LAZY AND DEPRESSED ALSO SEX WAS DIFFACULT WITH HUSBAND

ON THE INTERNET I WAS SCARED AND UNSURE BECAUSE I HAVE TRIED SO MANY OTHER WEIGHT LOSS GIMMICKS BEFORE

Describe your experience with getting insurance approval for surgery. What advice, if any, do you have for other people in this stage?

AWSOME DR BOLARS STAFF IS THE BEST

What was your first visit with your surgeon like? How can people get the most out of this meeting?

DR BOLAR IS GREAT HE IS A AWSOME TALKER BUT A EVEN BETTER LISTENER HE IS THE MAN

What made you finally decide to have the surgery?

SICKNESS AND TIRED OF BEING SO DAMN FAT THAT I COULDNT EVEN FIND ANY CLOTHES AND MY 6 YR OLD SON

How did you decide which proceedure to have?

DR BOLAR DID THAT FOR ME I TOTALY TRUSTED HIS JUDGEMENT ALL THE WAY 100 PERCENT

What fears did you have about having complications or even dying from from the surgery, and what would you tell other people having the same fears now?

I HAD LOTS OF FEARS MOSTLY FOR MY SON WHO WAS 5 AT TIME OF SURGERY AND AS FAR AS DYING I WAS TOTALY CONFIDENT IN MY SURGEN

How did your family and friends react to your decision? Would you have communicated anything differently if you could now? How supportive were they after your surgery?

MY HUSBAND WAS UNSURE HE WAS SCARED MY DAD WAS AGAINST IT TOTALY AND SO WAS MY MOM BUT MY STEP MOM WAS THE BOMB SHE WAS THERE 100 PERCENT OF THE WAY AT EVERY DR APPT AND WENT THRU THE WHOLE THING WITH ME AND I LOVE HER FOR THAT

How did your employer/supervisor react to your decision? What did you tell him/her? How long were you out of work?

I AM SELF EMPLOYED

What was your stay in the hospital like? How long where you there? What things are most important to bring?

my stay was great the staff was awsome just personal things cosmetics and thats about it

Did you have any complications from the surgery? If so, how did you deal with them?

none it went great

In the weeks after you got your surgery date, how did you feel? How did you cope with any anxiety you might have felt?

i didnt feel like that i was hungry in my mind only

Describe your first few weeks home from the hospital. What should people expect from this period?

tired misrable and hungry

How far did you travel to have your surgery? (If far, how did this affect your aftercare?)

around 2 hrs each way

Please describe in detail what things you could and couldn't eat in the weeks and months following surgery. What foods have been off limits? Please explain how your dietary tolerance changed week-by-week, and then month-by-month since surgery.

meat is all i had trouble with

ok i guess

What vitamins and/or dietary supplements have you taken since your surgery?

flintstone chewables and prenatal

What side effects (nausea, vomiting, sleep disturbace, dumping, hair loss etc.) were worse for you? For how long after surgery did they persist? How did you cope with them?

my hair loss i am 18 monts post op and still havent got my hair back to normal

What was the worst part about the entire bariatric surgery process?

nothing it was the best thing for me

What aftercare support group/program do you have? How helpful/important is this?

i dont i need to find one in my area

What is your scar like? Is this what you expected?

it looks better than what i expected
