What fears did you have about having complications or even dying from from the surgery, and what would you tell other people having the same fears now?

You know that is a good question, because I remember laying on the bed and my parents just kept on and kept on about all the things that could go wrong, and I asked them to shut up or leave. I knew there were risks but either way you have risks.

How did your family and friends react to your decision? Would you have communicated anything differently if you could now? How supportive were they after your surgery?

My parents hated the idea, My hubby supported mre through it all. 100%. I tell you he was my backbone through it all!!

How did your employer/supervisor react to your decision? What did you tell him/her? How long were you out of work?

NO thank goodness. I was walking the day I got out of the hospital.

In the weeks after you got your surgery date, how did you feel? How did you cope with any anxiety you might have felt?

I was so excited, but the hospital was tring to over charge me so I almost didn't get to do it.

Oh I tried to stay as busy as I could so I would not think about eating. My hubby did the cooking and I would go outside while they ate.
