What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

The worst thing about being over weight was not being able to do the things I wanted to do. It was harder to do everything. I was allways made fun of. Even relatives made fun of fun of me. Maybe they did not relize it. But ir hurt.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I can walk down the street and be able to breath. I can exersie longer than 5 minutes. Because I can breath now.

I got laid off from my job. I had full insurance through the company. And a nice severancy package. And a knew it worked for my friend and her mother. I had been wanting it for the last few years. But my (old) insurance would not cover it before. I did not want to take the time off work. So when I got laid off, I thoguht it was the perfect time.

How did you decide which proceedure to have?

That was easy I went to the surgeon that my friend and her mother went to

Yes there are fears. But I think the mos importain thnink is that you have to trust and feel comfortable with your surgon.

My mom was all for me having the surgery. My Boyfriend did not want me to have the surgery. He was scared he was going to lose me. But after the suregry was over he was such a help. and so was my mom

I just excepted my postion the same day I got the call about my surgery. So I went and told her. she was very happy for me. And wished me the best. So I only worked for a week and then went in to surgery and still had the job when I returned.
