Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

Nothing ever worked, felt terrrible and had low energy level even with an autoimmune disease.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Hard time finding clothes, and breathing. But mostly how I felt about me

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I very happy with my progress. I have so much energy. I did have issues with blood pressure dropping to low and broke my nose. That was the worst surgery I've ever had. But I've recovered very well. I'm between a 8-10 and I'm so proud! I do encourage those who consider this surgery to research the doctor, and talk with some of his/her previous experiences. Dr Virginia Weaver of St Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tn is wonderful, straight forward and very very good at what she does.
