Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I have always been a person who enjoys parties, holidays things of that nature so I've always been excepting of my self. Just recently ( 3yrs +)I started feeling my weight has been causing me to be less then who I wanted to be. I was always smaller as a child but once I had my children 20yrs ago I became overweight. I didn't feel good anymore but I've always hid things so well.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

The worst thing about being overweight is not being able to do things you once were able to do.simple things like shaving your legs, walking up stairs or even walking becomes a chore. I feel I'm at my lowest right now because As a woman who is only 5'2 I can't even put my shoes on without being out of breath and no longer can I fit in booths at restaurants.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Haven't had it yet
