Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I am a yoyo dieter. I can lose 20-25 pounds and then next thing I know it's back. I am 43 and work in a retirement home. I need to do something drastic because I don't want 2 people having to fit me in my later years. I wanna get this weight off so I can live life to the fullest. Tired of feeling big, bloated, uncomfortable it's over for me. Looking forward to getting this process done and be on the other side of this operation so I can feel good

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Feeling like a blob. Being bloated, clothing I hate, not being able to have sex how I would prefer. Not being able to sit and bend over to take off my socks.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Haven't had surgery yet
