Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I have been through hell in my life. i have always been big. I was considered the little fat girl at the age of 13. I was always trying to loose weight, just about my whole life. lossing my mom in 1997 i put on alot of weight, and just could not lose it, then in 2011 i decided to have the gastric bypass. I started the program in may 2011, in july of 2011 i losted my father i put on more weight i was well over 300 pounds, nov. 15 2011 the day of my surgery i weighed 346 pounds. Today, Jan. 2 2013 i weigh 150 pounds, and i feel great.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

I was always in pain, it hurt to move.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I can jog, play with my kids, and talk to people with out feeling like i am being judged by them.
