Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

Life being overweight for me is similar to a cloudy day....you can get through it, just need more energy to do everything.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

It limits me...and I do NOT enjoy limiting MYSELF! There are SO many pleasures in life I cannot enjoy the same as a average weight person would. I am a business owner ( meat processing plant) On my feet from 5:30am-3:30pm...I lift up to 80lbs on a regular basis...at the end of the day, my knees, feet and back are sore. Would love to still have energy at the end of the day.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I have not had surgery yet
