Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

Before I had my children I was 120-130lbs and at the time I thought I was fat then. I always thought I was the big one out of my friends. So after having 3 healthy boys I was a whopping 240lbs at 27 and on blood pressure meds daily. Having headaches all the time to the point of hospitalization. I found out about this surgery from a Co worker whose wife had the surgery and shortly there after he also got it. After seeing his results I knew I had to do it. Luckily I work in health care and my job pays 100% for this surgery and for a tummy tuck 18mths and 100lbs later.
