Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I was dying. It's that simple.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

social anxiety big time... not good for a professional musician

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

i can cross my darn leggs!! It's okay to eat in public. The funniest thing, though, was being at a bar watching my favorite band. They were playing outside and I was sitting in a plastic folding chair on a slight incline. As I was speaking with my friend I started noticing that I was hunching over more until i was finally just about folded in half. I said, "What the..." When i looked behind me I realized that my butt had slid out the back of the folding chair.
