Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

Well I kept trying every new diet that came along and failed every time,I am a bipolar manic depressive but that's from something else. It was tough though cuz of the bipolar. I was angry hated myself didn,t like going out felt like eyes were on me and people laughing at me,felt so bad.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

People staring at me not being able to walk very far couldn't,t hike be outside. In high school I never weighed more than 110 pounds having kids is when it begun weight nothing helped. Just kept gaining. My biggest problem is sweets and even today I can,t seem to control it.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Being able to touch my toes again crossing my legs I am only 6months out. Not having to wear plus size clothing anymore gone from a 3 x to 14 in ladies. So happy but wish I could quit the sweet problem. In all I am more active again.
