Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

Mine is not a battle. I don't fight to lose weight. I have accepted that I need,to change my habits to,be healthy and look at it as a pleasant experience. I think about it as redecorating my life like I redecorate my living room. I just got to put everything together to make me shine, to make me have the energy to do what I want to do, to be healthy.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

The worst thing about my weight is being tired all the time. Not having energy to do all I want to so.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I'm planning on surgery in September of this year.
