Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I have struggled with my weight for my entire life. I have lost and gained more weight than I can remember. I know find myself a single mom, a nurse, and obese. I am now at my highest weight of 256# and 5'6" tall. I am tired of being tired. I'm tired of migraines. I want my blood pressure normal and for my bones to stop aching. I want to be 33 years old. I want to feel like chasing my 4 year old around. I want my life back.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?
