Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I have been dealing with being overweight basically all my life. I was born nine pounds, and never really exercised, was diagnosed with arthritis young so that was one of the reasons I didn't exercise much. I remember going into weight watchers at around 11 or 12 at 155 trying to lose weight. Iv'e done that a few times but it never worked long term. Now I'm 18 years old 5'11 and 370 pounds. I sometimes feel like I gain weight abnormally fast. However, this surgery will be a new life for me and I can't wait! To start another life and I'm still young THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!
What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?
Worst thing about being overweight is being young and having people talk about you . Boys not wanting to talk to you because of your weight. Going somewhere with friends and their boyfriends and your'e alone and wishing you had their life. Being in a college class and not have enough room in your chair to even do your test. Not going out because you can't find nice clothes to wear.
If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?
Haven't had surgery yet.
