STOMACH SATIETY: The Coming Revolution in Obesity Management

Reducing obesity is an international priority. According to the World Health Organization, about 1 billion people worldwide are overweight or obese.

Humans usually eat in discrete periods of time, that is, they eat their meals usually 3-5 times daily. Before a meal begins; the sensation of hunger rises due to rising blood levels of Ghrelin hormone. Once eating starts, hunger declines gradually, and satiety rises also gradually. Fullness and satisfaction will be apparent.
