I had to change surgoens. Now I am going with Dr David Bruce. I have already meet with him. I feel safe in his hands. He made me feel better about the surgery. I like that his office is so close to my town. Driving to Columbus would get old real quick. I am glad I am with him now.

Dr Bruce and Dr Cleary did my surgery. I am very please with the results. All involved was very nice and supportive.

My first impression of Dr. Bruce was that he seemed very serious and a no frills Doctor. Everyone in the office seemed so organized and they all knew precisely what they were doing. Dr. Bruce gave a seminar that laid out all the information of the surgery. The office has a very helpful website and they offer support groups and other information. They are very clear on what you need to do after the surgery and leave it up to you to follow directions. I think the fact that I chose Dr. Bruce to do this serious surgery says how I feel about his overall skills, etc. If I had it to do all over again I would choose no one else.

I ended up having Dr. Bruce, who works with Dr. Clarey. He is very polite, and an understanding Dr. Patient, and answers your questions in a timely manner. The aftercare appointments have been very good. And the office staff is nice. I think surgical competence outweighs bedside manner because you are dealing with such a risky surgery. Especially if you go into the surger weighing quite a bit. However, beside manner is what makes you trust the surgeon, so that is the icing on the cake. You know most of us go into this process with low self estemes already, being of size. If you want the surgery, then complications of your weight have already depressed you in some way. You need a good dr., with good experience; AND a good bedside manner.

Went to the seminar and it was very informative. Dr. Bruce really knows his surgery. Met him one on one and found him to be very nice and understanding. I feel as if I am in good hands with him. The staff are very encouraging and Cynthia in scheduling is just wonderful.

My surgeon, DAvid Bruce, seems very nice. I have only met with him one time so far. The office staff is very friendly.

Dr. Bruce seems very nice and caring. I cannot say enough about Patty. She is AMAZING and so nice!!!

Dr. Bruce is very knowledgable about the surgery itself. I don't think that he has been a big help this past year after my surgery-has no input as to why my weight loss has slowed down tremendously. He certainly knows what he is doing in the OR but I have been on my own for post-op things pertaining to my weight loss. Good bedside manner.

Dr. Bruce and Dr. Clarey perform surgery together. They are very nice. The information session was good, went over benefits, risks etc. Jean, who works in the office, has had the surgery and is an inspiration. She runs the support group and is amazing. I am very happy with me decision to go with Drs. Bruce & Clarey.
