Dr. Iqbal completed his surgery residency and graduated as Chief Resident from the North Oakland Medical Center, affiliated with Wayne State University in Pontiac, Michigan. Dr. Iqbal later joined the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska where he completed his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery and worked as a senior fellow and clinical instructor in the division of minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. Dr. Iqbal is dedicated to the highest quality outcomes in advanced laparoscopy, general, and bariatric surgery. He recently relocated from a bariatric program in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Dr. Iqbal is a fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.
