    Frederick O. Buckley, Jr., MD, Medical Director of the program, is board certified in general surgery and performs both open and laparoscopic gastric bypass, laparoscopic gastric band and sleeve gastrectomy procedures. Dr. Buckley is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. His clinical interests, in addition to bariatric surgery, are laparoscopic abdominal surgery including colon resection, hernia repair and surgical oncology.
