Dr. Andrei and his staff are informative, supportive, and caring during my gastric bypass preparation and surgery. I had surgery on Nov. 21, 2013. I've lost 20 lb. thus far. Follow up calls and visits have been a great help to adjusting to changing my mindset and eating habits. I highly recommend Dr. Andrei for bariatric surgery based upon his extensive knowledge and patient bedside manner!
I wanted to update my progress and to still tell everyone how I thank GOD each day that Dr Andrei took such great care of me and that his WHOLE entire office is just as wonderful as he is! It was just 2 years on Nov 17 and I am loving each day! I am down 130 lbs and I'm in a size 2 CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? LOL I ask my self that every time I look in the mirror , which now I dont mind doing! Dr.Oz even was excited to learn how well I was doing. When I met up with Rachael Ray, She couldn't believe I was the same person! i have wonderful pictures that have been updated and I workout still and its just a way of life for me. With all that weight loss people thought I had skin removal , I didn't I just made sure to do exercises to tighten it up as best as i could;) Again , Thank you Dr Andrei, I cant thank you enough! Here I am once again its been 1 Year 4 months and I cant tell you enough How wonderful I feel and I thank my lord above for all that I can do now that I lost 110 lbs! Dr Andrei is by far the most caring and wonderful Dr. Please if anyone is going through 2nd thoughts Please have Dr Andrei's office contact me and I will be happy to talk to you. I have never felt this wonderful. I have RA since a child and this is the first time that I can still move around even with the aches I still have , Its no where like it was. Being in Dr. Andrei's care I was ahead of the game. He is always there for you and his staff is A1 Everyone there makes you feel like family. Thank you again Dr Andrei and the WHOLE staff You are very much appreciated!! XOXOXO
I like to come back here periodically ,Just to keep people informed if they are on the fence about getting this surgery done. I am here to tell you YES!!! Dr Andre is with out a doubt a terrific Dr and explains evert detail to you while your deciding and also making that life changing decision. Not only does he help every step of the way , But his office are the most caring ,I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I truly couldn't be happier , I made my 1 year back in November and Im so thrilled to say I am in a size 4 from a 20/22 and have reached my goal weight. I have told the office and to Please not hesitate AT all if someone needs someone that has gone through this to Give them my number or even my email address [email protected]. I would love to help anyone with moral support or just to lend an ear. I really cant thank him enough , He an that whole office along with me listening to all the directions given to me ,Changed my life forever, for the best!

I wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Dr Andrei!!! He really changed my life! To date I have lost 77 pounds and its been 7 months. I feel wonderful and I wanted to let anyone who is considering this surgery...HAVE IT!! Dr. Andre is the best at what he does. He is compassionate and caring and is the best Dr. there is for this procedure. Before I go onto the staff and how wonderful they are, I wanted to say , that if you have any reservations or a tad scared call the off , ask if they can get in touch with me , I would be HAPPY to help you along for some positive reenforcement or if you just have some questions. I couldn't be happier with the results. That being said, On to the staff...They make you feel so welcomed and cared for. Pam is terrific and holds your hand through it all, You get daily phone calls after the surgery when your home just checking in on you and seeing if you have any questions. It's the best staff I have come in contact with ever! Its like having an extension of the doctor's arm at home. No question goes unanswered . They are on top of everything . You just have to follow the instructions and your good to go! In closing, I want to say Thank you again Dr Andrei for being the special Dr you are and your wonderful staff , truly are the best!!

I was very happy with Dr Andrei and the results that have occured since my surgery. in 1 months time I have now lost 27 pounds . Dr Andrei is the most caring and patient dr I have met. You can actually feel his concern for the patient and does not rush if you have questions. The staff from the desk to the billing to the nutritionist are tops. I look forward to coming to the office to see everyone. They are the best team ever! Thank you Dr and staff for putting a smile back on my face!
Dr. Andrei was excellent during my surgery and after. His staff was incredible and caring through my journey. I would recommend Dr. Andrei to anyone seeking bariatric surgery.
It has been 15 months since my Gastric Sleeve Surgery. In that time I have lost a total of 105 lbs and have gone from a 56 inch waist to a 38 inch waist. I am feeling the best that I have in many, many years. More importantly my health has improved drastically, from being a Diabetic who was taking several pills a day and was told that I would probably have to start using insulin, I no longer need any medication what so ever for the Diabetes. My blood sugar is now normal. I also no longer need any medication for cholesterol, so basically 90% of all the medications I used to take are no longer needed. Also because I have lost this weight my physical activity has increased, I now enjoy long walks which were not possible because of back pain when I carried all that extra weight.
Dr. Andrei and his staff continue to be both very supportive and always there when you need them, no question is to small or insignificant to ask them or for them to answer. Any time you need something they are more than happy to get on the phone with you and answer all your concerns. Since my surgery my daughter, who is 19 yrs old, has also undergone a Bypass procedure with Dr. Andrei and is extremely happy and progressing very well. I can't thank both Dr. Andrei and his staff enough for the continued support and encouragement which has been invaluable in changing our lives, both for me and my family.
This has been a great experience and a big change in my life. Dr. Andrei and his entire staff are fantastic, very professional and extremely supportive. From the minute you enter the office you get the feeling that you are in great hands. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. I can't say enough about both Dr. Andrei and his staff. They both guide you and help you through every step, from when you first come to the office and after surgery, they are always only a phone call away. I can't say enough about them, all I can say is Thank You for everything.
I am now 9 months post op. I have lost >110 pounds. Oh the things you take for granted when you are putting on the weight. Like walking through the mall, getting the mail, taking out the garbage, lawn work, etc... What a wonderful feeling to be able to do those things again without having to sit and catch your breath. Not to mention the cramping you experience at the slightest activity. I've said it before in my posts and I'll say it again, Dr. Andrei and his staff saved my life!!
I had the pleasure of sitting in on a focus group session this past weekend and was delighted to actually be one of the success stories where as in the past I was a devout listener but could contribute little. To all in doubt, think of it this way, do you just want the surgery because you believe you are strong enough to make it work on your own or do you want to be successful? Retoricle question.
I am now 7 months post op and have hit the 100+ mark. I cant effectively express my gratitude and thankfullness of Dr Andrei and staff but ill try. I look at this way, every day I live with this new outlook on life is at least another week of life he has given me. Like all those that listen, act and maintain, the results are beyond what you think will happen. I am able to do things I had only fond memories of like jogging, walking my dog, yard work (ok maybe not yard work) but you get my meaning. If you are obese and need a trusted "team" look no further. How do you measure life? How about this, thanks to Dr Andrei and team I once again realize that I am in control of my destiny but sometimes you need something or someone to interpret the road signs.
Stop your worrying. Like many of you, I struggled for years to find the right diet, exercise program, magic pill. Then I gave into the search for the medical procedure to get me started back to good health after my previous efforts failed. What is the most important thing we all do when finally making a decision affecting our lives. We research to find the best solution, Product, DOCTOR. Look no further from the initial communication with DR Andrie's staff I was convinced he was the right Doctor. I reviewed a minimum of three other highly regarded surgents for the procedure I thought i wanted, our initial visit Dr. Andrie introduced me to the Sleeve procedure after reviewing my history he strongly recommended this procedure as opposed to the other surgery I thought I needed and which the other physicians didnt hesitate to jump on board with instead of evaluating the right surgery like Dr. Andrie. In a nut shell, I am two weeks post op and the care from the beginning all the way through has been an experiance of support and caring. I strongly suggest you look no further other then to validate my highest rating of Dr. Andrie. His practice is not just a great Doctor and "see you next month", his entire practice from the first visit to what I now can say will be a long lasting relationship is with you all the way answering everything, putting you at ease, making this life altering desicion that much easdier to deal with. Think of it this way, if you are going to buy a car do you want reassurance that any questions, concerns, worries, issues(of which their are none for me) will be taken care of no matter when or how often? If yes, look no further.
Last year I was at a loss... I was unhappy, sad, and depressed about to turn 40 and I felt my weight was out of control. I was driving to work listening to Star 99.1, Dr. Andrei's commercial came on the radio... so I called and made an apt. I then cancelled and Pam (The Nutritionist) called me back and said "please come in and talk to me." So I did... and that one visit changed my life!
I LOVE Dr. Andrei, Pam, and Andy... the entire staff! I am down 100 pounds (from April)!!! Dr. Andrei gave me my happiness back!
Wasn't sure which surgery I wanted. When I came to the office, and Dr. Andrei explained to me what the options were, I chose to have the lap band surgery. After my surgery, I knew I made the right choice with the right Dr. Dr. Andrei and staff are amazing!!
Absolutely love my experience with everyone at Dr. Andrei office in south Orange New Jersey. The staff becomes your family and most important your support team. The first meeting with Mrs. Pamela was unforgettable...the reason wh, is I felt like I fail myself... but in fact she supported me and made me realize I hadn't failed myself but just needed a little help. And she was right I didn't give up on myself I WAS taking action to become healthy again. I love this staff and can't stress how supportive and helpful they ALL are. The doctor really CARES about his patients. From begin to end they all have been helpful one way or another. Andy makes sure he calls you twice day after your surgery and checks up on you, if you have any questions he will answer them. You can call and someone always picks up the phone. Did I say I LOVE this staff they are AWESOME!!! So honesty if you are looking for people who care and will be there when you need someone to talk are go to Dr. Andrei team is the place you want to be!!
My experience with Dr. Andrei and all his staff has been excellent! My surgery was performed on Dec 2013 and is closed to be a year already. I already have lost closed to 90 pounds and I feel great.
I’m very lucky to have found Dr. Andrei and his staff. They are all very welcoming and helpful troughs the process of my surgery. This has been a great experience and I definitely recommended to every person that is currently struggling with obesity.
