Joshua Mourot Bariatric Surgeon MD

Minimally Invasive Bariatric & General Surgeon Dr. Josh Mourot was born and raised in Lake Jackson, Texas but has strong Arkansas roots. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a degree in chemical engineering. He then started his Ph.D. in chemical engineering at Rice University before realizing his desire for a career in medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Both his general surgery residency and fellowship in advanced minimally invasive surgery were completed at the University of Washington.
