Robert Barbalinardo Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

Dr. Robert Barbalinardo is a board certified general surgeon with specialized experience in laparoendoscopic surgery, colorectal surgery and bariatric surgery. He has advanced training in procedures such as colonoscopy and proctectomy with total mesolectal excision (TME). Dr. Barbalinardo is an assistant clinical professor in the department of surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He has held several administrative positions at Mountainside Hospital, including director of the department of surgery. Dr. Barbalinardo has been named a “Top Doc” by New Jersey Monthly Magazine every year since 2007. He has also been named one of “America’s Top Surgeons” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.
