Jackie Bertelsen Dietitian / Nutritionist RD, LMNT

Jackie graduated from UNK with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and went on for another year internship in Colorado Spring , Colorado at the Penrose Hospitals.  After passing her boards, Jackie went to Des Moinies , Iowa for 10 years and worked as a Clinical Dietitian, Foods Service Director, Cafeteria Manager, Sales for Menu Magic  and a Manager for the WIC program.  Jackie returned back to Omaha where she worked with Eating Disordered patient’s at UNMC.  After getting married and having a son she remained home for 7 years to raise her son and help her husband on the farm.  Jackie returned back to work in 2005. When she began working for Methodist in 2008,  Jackie began getting trained in bariatrics and starting seeing patient’s in 2009.   In her spare time, Jackie goes to her son’s sporting events, cooks, works-out and spends time with family and friends.    She and her husband have been married for 19 years and have one son, Glen.  Jackie's husband farms outside of Council Bluffs.
