Kathy Kemp Professional Bariatric Program Manager, DeKalb Medical Center

Bariatric Program Manager, DeKalb Medical Center: Kathy is our Bariatric Coordinator. She has been the manager of our program since 1999. Kathy works closely with Surgical Associates and the hospital to ensure a positive experience for all our patients. She was instrumental in achieving our Center of Excellence certification as well as several other achievements for our bariatric program. Kathy is knowledgeable and understands the aspects of the surgery, care of the patient, and our aftercare program. She is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery as well as a member of the Obesity Action Coalition. She enjoys working with patients and helping them with every aspect of our program.Kathy is a native to Atlanta, Georgia and has three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, the beach, and watching college football.
