Allison Barnett Registered Nurse RN, CBN

Allison Barnett was raised in Claverack, NY and graduated in 1991 as a Registered Nurse from the Albany Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Albany, NY. From 1992 until 2005, she served as an Emergency Room Traveling RN in a variety of Level 1 and 2 trauma centers nationwide, including in Los Angeles, Boston, Cape Cod, Baltimore, Atlanta, Daytona, Sarasota, and Virginia Beach.  Following the birth of her twins, she returned to healthcare as the Bariatric Program Nurse Coordinator for Pinnar Surgical Associates in Reston, VA.   Allison joined Medical Faculty Associates in 2013 and was awarded credentials as a Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN) by the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) in 2014. She currently serves as a member of the Virginia Bariatric Nursing Association Allison strives to provide a high level of care and support during this journey, to ensure her patients achieve optimal results.
