Is there any help out there to help pay the surgeon's office fee? Can I please get some feed back and/or advice?

My surgeon fee is $3000 because she is no a preferred provider for my insurance.

Wow that's a lot of money to fork over!! Sorry to hear about that. I have to admit that I'm glad I live in Canada where we don't have to pay for a doctor's services. That's gotta suck!! Anne

I was lucky to get help from my family, but luckily after insurance is filed and paid, I will be getting it refunded cause my out of pocket for this year was already met. I had to pay a 'deposit' to hold my surgery date. $400 to surgeon and $200 to assistant. This is in addition to the $200 'processing fee' for getting the insurance approval. Have you checked into a loan from a bank? Like a signature loan or something you can put up as collateral?
