I HAVE MY SLEEVE DATE! END OF AUGUST IN CALGARY.

A little excited and a little scared.  After an unsuccessful lapband ....here goes round 2!  Approved for sleeve to be done in Calgary at the end of August.

The journey seems long because I have so much to lose but  I am slowly making progress in the right direction.

I guess we are all on this same journey ....different paths.

I am so encouraged by the stories i read on here.  You are all so brave and NEVER give up.

I am having the surgery at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary in 3 1/2 weeks. I went through "the weight management" program, which is operated out of the old children's hospital. I had a long wait (4 years) to get into the program but hopefully it will have all been worth the wait!
