plastics covered by MSP

Did anyone have any luck with getting plastics covered by BC Medical? I'm getting a breast reduction, but my surgeon said they don't cover anything else. Is he right or is it that he just doesn't want to work on submitting the paperwork and not get paid as much? I'd love any tips anyone has on what I can do to start the ball rolling. 

I don't think so,but Im not sure.  I believe, if its not covered, it can be written off as a medical expense on your taxes.

The only plastics MSP will cover are breast reduction and panni removal (and only if you meet their criteria).
