What vitamins do you take daily?
I use a twice daily pill organizer for morning and bedtime batch, and small jewelry bags/thepillbag for the lunch and afternoon batches that I take to work.
At first it was a bit overwhelming, but then I figured out how to make it work for me. Now, I feel weird if I don't have my packs in my pocket before I head out the door.
I have my "drug lab" set up once a month where I fill up everything and then I just grab and go.
The expense is up to you. You can find sales and stock up. Modify to meet your needs etc.
I started out with the 90 day supply from Vitalady (which some of the bottles last longer than 90 days.) and adjusted from there. I found that chewable multis and chewable calcium worked better for me, so I just ordered those from her website. She also has all the "dry" forms of vitamins we need for the DS. She is a great resource.

Pre-op I was D deficient, and so was started on OTC oil based D. After DS, I was told to take 2 Celebrate multi-vitamin chewables, 1 Celebrate DS, and my usual D from before surgery, but wasn't told to switch it to the DRY formulation. I switched to the dry formulation about a month post-op. 3 month labs were normal, 6 month labs showed low A, even though I was taking what my surgeon's office directed me to, because I wasn't getting enough A.
Lesson learned is that I should have been on Vitalady's regimen. You should do that, too, post-op. Our surgeons are for surgery. The dieticians are for diet. This site is for support that you can't get anywhere else. And Vitalady is for your vitamin needs. You call her and read her your lab results, she takes it from there. When you go to your surgeon, ask for copies of all your lab reports. ALL of them. Keep track of your own levels, get to know them.

Just inserting here that I'm not medical, nor am I dietary. What I do doesn't have a place at all, so I can't get a degree in it.
I'm in an in between place that doesn't even exist. And I'm sorta all alone in this place.
Just to be clear that*I* do not think I have any medical knowledge, other than the obvious: have pain, see a doc. have fever, see a doc.

P.S. My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.
bariatric advantage (ADEK) chewables - 3x day
calcium citrate 600 w/D3 - 4x day
bariatric advantage iron - 1x day
6 month labs showed low D. ordered 5000 - dry D3 from vitalady to add to my daily intake. everything else was good.

Some of us take less vitamins and some take much more. It all depends on what our individual bodies require.
