Oh, no! I am so sorry to hear this. You're right; she is one of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. I visited her the last time she was re-admitted and we had a very lovely visit. She's also very savvy about her surgery so we don't have to worry about her being a clueless vicitm.

I spoke with Martina this evening. She said the procedure went well. She said she was able to get down 6oz liquids and feels better than she did when they did the stretching before. Crossing our fingers this is a good sign she is on her way to being well.
