Hello all you friendly faces, new and old. I'm dropping in to quickly cross-post an update about Ginger R. She had her exploratory surgery with Dr. Bonanni today, in an attempt to figure out the source of her unexplained pain over the past months. I received an update from her husband that the surgery went smoothly and she was safely in recovery as of 12:45pm. Dr. B removed her gallbladder, as planned since he was poking around in there anyway. He said there was a lot of scar tissue, but no other word on potential sources of the pain. I'm sure Ginger will have more detail for us when she's back on her feet. Dr. B is planning to keep her in overnight tonight for observation, but she should be released from the hospital tomorrow.
