DS in Canada
O.H. is great, and I have learned a lot here but of course it is very American oriented. For those who are seeking a DS in Canada or for Canadians who have had there DS abroad and need support from a Canadian outlook come and join us. We will still be here on OH but we can focus on specific problems relevant to Canadians eg: customs duties on supplements coming from the U.S. or continuing medical support from Canadian Doctors who haven't even heard of DS.

Dr. Jamie Ponce de Leon - Medical guide Laurie Wolf Received money Never showed up - Only thing booked were flights. Surgeon and Medical team, and hospital were awesome . There is another Medical guide named Trish she is good. PM me for info. 
Greg, I am Canadian and had my RNY about 3 years ago in the USA, but now I'd like to try to have a revision to the DS. I don't know where to start though. Is the DS even possible in Canada? Will they do revisions in Canada? Does OHIP cover the DS? Any suggestions or help is welcome! Thanks.

In my original post I should have said that the Canadian DS Family on Facebook is a private board so you need to friend me on Facebook to join.
OHIP does cover the DS in Ontario. I will be having my DS on Aug. 15th. As far as I know only one Doctor does the DS in Ontario, Dr; Hong at St. Joe's in Hamilton. He trained in the US and did many DS's there before moving to Hamilton.

I'd certainly be interested in joining the group. I recently had a revision to a DS from a VSG (I had a two-stage approach due to my BMI/beginning weight).
