just curious...what was ur post op diet??

My dr has me on 1 week clear liquids...2 weeks full liquids.....2 weeks soft foods...and on week 6 move on as tolerated...

Is this similar to what others do?

I'm on two weeks clear; two weeks soft and then slowly introduce solid foods. I'm totally dreaming of popcorn and cheese!

Mushies start on Wednesday... I have no doubt that cottage cheese will be like candy!

Two weeks liquids, two weeks soft food, the next week I can introduce real food. I'm dreaming of yogurt right now because i know that is next but I really can't wait until I can have cheese.

I was eating soft food before I even left the hospital.  I was given the green light to eat whatever sounded good, concentrating on protein sources.

Mine was similar to Valerie's.  I was eating soft foods before I left the hospital, introducing new foods as tolerated.  

My diet was soft foods right from the start. 

Clear liquids 2 weeks full liquids for 6 weeks. I am at 6 weeks now and have been eating soft food for three weeks.

I was eating yogurt and taking my pills whole the day after surgery.  I was eating eggs 4 days out.  It was just a progression as tolerated.

1 day clear liquids
1 weeks full liquid
1 week thin puree
1 week thick pure
1 week soft food
Then as tolerated.
