Absorption issues? Anyone taking BC and doing okay?

I switched to the nuvaring. No absorption issues :) 

The clinic I went through swears by having all women (of that age) on 2 forms of birth control for at least 18 months. We are not allowed to use the pill as one of the methods due to absorption issues. If we are wanting to become pregnant, they'll run the appropriate tests to make sure that vitamin levels are where they should be to keep everyone healthy. 😄
